Nessuno studio controllato in IBD. Il beneficio riportato è aneddotico e confuso dal naturale decorso recidivante-remittente della malattia. [1]
Rimuove completamente le fibre fermentabili, con effetti prevedibili sul microbioma, e comporta un reale rischio di micronutrienti. Inclusa qui perché è ampiamente promossa, non perché sia supportata.

Come valutiamo questi
Quattro valutazioni grossolane piuttosto che un punteggio. "Stabilito" significa studi randomizzati o approvazione delle linee guida. "Promettente" significa un segnale coerente da studi che sono piccoli o brevi. "Limitato" significa solo evidenza meccanicistica o osservazionale.
