Умора

Умората е сред най-често съобщаваните симптоми при ВЧЗ и сред най-рядко лекуваните. Тя персистира при голяма част от хората, чието възпаление е контролирано, което означава, че не е просто маркер за активността на заболяването.

Сред допринасящите фактори са анемията (желязодефицитът е много често срещан и коригируем), нарушенията на съня, ефектите на медикаментите, хроничното възпаление и психологическото натоварване от непредвидимо заболяване.
