Zmęczenie

Zmęczenie jest jednym z najczęściej zgłaszanych objawów w IBD i jednym z najmniej często leczonych. Utrzymuje się u dużej części osób, których stan zapalny jest kontrolowany, co oznacza, że nie jest to po prostu wskaźnik aktywności choroby.

Czynniki przyczyniające się to anemia (niedobór żelaza jest bardzo powszechny i możliwy do skorygowania), zaburzenia snu, efekty leków, przewlekłe zapalenie oraz psychologiczne obciążenie związane z nieprzewidywalną chorobą.
